On the occasion of the bicentenary of the Mauritshuis in The Hague, the museum asked sixteen top photographers to reflect on the collection and building. Which masters capture their imagination? How do they interpret 17th-century art? The result - new photographs by these contemporary masters - can be seen in the permanent collection of the Mauritshuis, right next to the paintings of the old masters.
