Starting from the 3rd june 2016, Johan Creten is invited to invest the vineyard as well as the estate of the Château de Pommard (Côte d'or, France). A selection of of his artwork will be integrated both into the nature and the buildings surrounding, offering a powerful confrontation between this now legendary artist and this exceptional estate.Johan Creten (born 1963 in Belgium) is a Flemish sculptor based in Paris, working wherever he has the opportunity, from The Hague to New York, from Miami to Mexico. Considered a frontrunner in the revival of ceramics in contemporary art with Thomas Schütte and Lucio Fontana, he is also known for his large-scale bronze sculptures. Major examples of Creten's virtuosity were shown at the Galerie Perrotin in New York in 2015 for his solo exhibition "God Is a Stranger". He exhibited, among many other places, in the Renaissance rooms of the Louvre Museum, in dialogue with Bernard Palissy; at the musée national Eugène Delacroix in Paris; the Bass Museum in Miami; the Middelheim Museum in Antwerp; and the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht. CAMILLE MORINEAU est conservatrice du patrimoine et directrice d'AWARE (Archives of Women Artists, Research and Exhibitions). Elle a été commissaire de nombreuses expositions parmi lesquelles « Yves Klein » en 2006, « Gerhard Richter » en 2012, « Roy Lichtenstein » en 2013 et « elles@centrepompidou », dédiée aux artistes femmes, de 2009 à 2011. Elle a fondé Eva en 2014. MATHILDE DE CROIX est commissaire indépendant. Chargée de recherches pour l'exposition « Climats artificiels » à la Fondation EDF depuis octobre 2015, elle prépare actuellement la publication des écrits complets de Rémy Zaugg, sous la direction d'Eva Schmidt, à paraître aux Presses du Réel.
