Directed by legendary film-maker Pedro Almodóvar (Talk to Her, Volver, All About My Mother), JULIETA is a Spanish film with English subtitles that adapts CHANCE, SOON, and SILENCE - three short stories from Alice Munro's national bestseller RUNAWAY. Together, these linked stories follow Juliet and her search for answers when her daughter abandons her. Starring Adriana Ugarte, Emma Suárez, Inma Cuesta, Michelle Jenner, Rossy de Palma, and Daniel Grao.
The screenplay for this major motion picture from Sony Picture Classics is by Almodóvar and our MTI will feature a preface by the director on the relationship between his film and Munro's stories.
JULIETA will be released on December 21, 2016 (NY & LA) expanding to additional markets nationwide in the New Year.
