The main map shows the city at a scale of 1:12 000 (1cm = 0.12km) and highlights numerous places of interest such as public buildings, hotels and parks. Central Amsterdam is shown on a separate map at the more detailed scale of 1:6 500 (1cm = 0.065km).
For those wishing to travel slightly further afield there is a map of the area surrounding Amsterdam, the scale of this map is 1:75 000 (1cm = 0.75km).
