Aerial Atlas of Ancient Britain

ISBN: 9780500024164 (HB - EN)

A spectacular collection of aerial photographs of Britain's most extraordinary prehistoric sites. This breathtaking collection of aerial images reveals ancient monuments from all around the British Isles, as they have never been seen before: Neolithic enclosures, cairns and stone circles; Bronze Age villages, farmsteads, tombs and burial mounds; and Iron Age hillforts, all photographed in spectacular bird's-eye-view detail.

About the Author David Abram is a writer and photographer specializing in prehistoric landscapes and monuments. Born and raised in Wales, he now lives on the border of Somerset and Wiltshire in England, close to some of the world's most important archaeological sites, which he has been researching for over forty years. Alice Roberts is an academic, author and broadcaster. She is Professor of Public Engagement with Science at the University of Birmingham, and has presented many television programmes including the BBC's series Digging for Britain.
